Hyped For… Schoolboy Q – Oxymoron

Schoolboy Q will be releasing his major label debut Oxymoron later this year. Part of LA Supergroup Black Hippy which also features Ab-Soul, Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar this is definitely one to look out for. The TDE representative released his first studio album in 2011 with Setbacks and followed in 2012 with one of my albums of the year Habits and Contradictions. Aside from collaborating with his Black Hippy crew he’s also a known to join forces with A$AP Rocky. They’ve paired up with titanic results on tracks: “Hands on The Wheel” (Habits and Contradictions), “Brand New Guy” (Live.Love.A$AP) and most recently “PMW” (LongLiveA$AP). Like LongLiveA$AP and Lamar’s Good Kid. M.A.A.D City, Oxymoron could go very big this year. Listen to his new single “Yay Yay” below
