The Hundredth Anniversary – 34

Track Of The Day comes from Brighton four piece The Hundredth Anniversary. “34” is the b-side to their new single “The Jump” which is released on Tiny Lights on 7″ today. It’s a brooding slow building affair which explodes into the band’s trademark tendency for enormous shimmering finales. Vocalist Eleanor floast over the tightly wound instrumentals in haunting fashion. It’s reminiscent of Interpol at their most epic and ghostly. A band relatively new in inception, THA are already a real commodity live. The songs sound massive, I can’t wait for the album.

Listen to “34” here.
